A little bit about myself. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I lived in Orlando, FL. with my family, husband and three children, from 1986 to 1999 when we relocated back in PR so our kids could learn their roots and culture. They are all adults now and live here in Ithaca, NY.

I moved here to New York recently, September 5, due to the difficult economic situation in my homeland. I worked for the past 15 years with the same company, which lets you know I am a very responsible and productive employee. I edited a very popular TV show, but when business started to feel the problems with the economy the first thing they cut from the budget is advertising, so things turn really complicated for all of us in that business.

I like New York very much, and don't want to leave. I know I can find a suitable job here.

I am writing to express a strong interest in the position of Graphic Designer, since I possess the creative and technical skills to come up with different ideas as well as a business sense to manage both corporate and individual clients. I am confident that I have much expertise to offer to your organization.

As noted on the enclosed resume, I have a considerable experience in designing all types of graphics for marketing and corporate projects. Vast experience in marketing materials to meet companies promotional needs. Moreover, I possess extensive skills in major design applications like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design and strong experience of branding, layout, color and typography for both digital and print media.

Additionally, I am competent enough to be able to handle multiple projects at the same time owing to my keen organizational and multitasking skills.
